Description: This Stilton is handcrafted by Colston Bassett, one of England's smallest and oldest Stilton producers. Made with pasteurized cow's milk, the perfect Stilton should be a rich cream colour with blue veining spread throughout.
The texture of the cheese is smooth and creamy with a mellow flavour and no sharp acidic taste from the blue. Full of flavor, thanks to the use of traditional rennet and splendid, high-quality milk, Colston Bassett Stilton is often considered the king of blues.

Wine Pairing: It pairs well with Tawny port or crisp sweet wine such as Montbazillac.
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
