Description: Saint Marcellin is a soft, mild, slightly salty flavour, cow's milk cheese that originated from the farms in Isère region of France. When ripe, it is irresistible with slightly yeasty taste. It typically has a beige crust with a soft, creamy interior. It has an intensely rustic, nutty, fruity flavour.

Wine Pairing: Cheese aficionados adore Saint Marcellin with a chilled Sancerre or Pouilly Fume. It is also served with Cotes du Rhone and all kinds of light red, fruity red, dry light white wines.
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
