Description: It’s a ewe’s milk cheese made in the Gascogne region of France. Its name, Régalis, alludes to “Mons Régalis,” which refers to the name of its city of origin, Montréjeau, which is Gascon for “Mont-Royal.” It comes coated in wax to retain all of the cheese’s moisture. It shows a very creamy paste with a delicate blue finish.
Weight: Approx. 200g/piece
Wine Pairing: This blue cheese pairs well with dry reds – such as Chateau Montus Madiran.
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
