Marlette - Scones

1 egg
60g butter
18cl milk

Preparation for delicious English scones - Enjoy them with salted butter, jam or whipped cream!

T80 wheat flour*, raisins*, blond cane sugar*, baking powder (wheat starch*, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bitartrate), cinnamon*, Ré Island salt.

1- Preheat the oven 374° F
2- Pour contents of the baking into a bowl. Add the diced butter and mix with your fingertips until the mixture sand.
3- Form a well and add the milk and egg. Mix until a smooth ball.
4- On your floured surface turn the dough and flatten with the palm of the hand to obtain a large cake thick (2.5 cm thick).
5- Divide the scones with cookie cutters (7cm diameter). You can also (even easier) using a knife cut the cake into six equal pars without separating them (once cooked, the shares will cut easily by hand).
6- Brush scones with all three tablespoons of milk.
7- Put in oven and leather until browned (25 minutes depending on the power of your oven).
8- The scones should have a dense texture. Cut in the direction of thickness and enjoy them warm with salted butter, jam or whipped cream (can be eaten the same day in the oven).
