Description: It is a dense, semi soft ewes’ milk cheese, which was created only in 2012 by the Fédou Hyelzas cheese dairy, located in the Occitanie region of France.
Le Claousou is distinguished by its paste of a cooked terracotta colour and slightly saumurée crust. Its creamy and smooth texture contains a woody fragrance. The fine flavours of uncooked sheep milk mingle harmoniously with the fragrance of spruce strap, tastes are ample, with a good length.
Weight: Approx. 250g per piece
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
