Description: The Lonzu Corse or Lonzu di Corsica is a cured meat of Corsican origin made from boned, dried and seasoned pork loin, put in a natural gut and tied up, then smoked with beech wood to finally be matured in a cellar for a minimum of 6 months. Lonzu meat is lean with a band of fat.
This charcuterie is made from pigs born, raised and slaughtered at the age of 10 months in the pure tradition of the French island of Corsica. They eat grains: corn, wheat and barley. Except for mineral supplements, vitamins and trace elements, their entire diet, at every stage, is guaranteed to be 100% plant-based, therefore meeting the highest traceability, quality and food safety standards.
