Presentation of the estate
The AOP Saint Emilion Grand Cru covers the same appellation as Saint-Emilion and is situated in the Libournais on the right bank of the Dordogne. To be labeled Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, the production conditions are stricter than the AOP Saint-Emilion: yield limited to 40hl/ha and a mandatory aging for 12 months.
Saint-Emilion Grand Cru covers 4030 ha of limestone, silty clay and sandy soils. Merlot dominates this AOP blend, but the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are also vinified. Saint-Emilion Grand Cru annually produces 150,291 hectoliters of red wine.

Château Grand Rivallon 2012 has a beautiful and brillant ruby colour. The nose, complex and elegant, offers aromas of red fruits and vanilla with a spicy touch. The palate is elegant and well structured.

Serve with red meats, poultry, game and cheeses. Serving condition : Between 16°C and 18°C.
