Description: This farmer cheese is shaped as a brick. Lay in a ventilated cellar, the cheese is matured for 4 weeks. Its naturally folded rind is covered with homogeneous charcoal. The cheese is soft and its pâte develops a strong smell of goat. When the maturation lasts, the cheese becomes drier and its aromas become concentrated and quite tenacious.
Packing: Approx. 200g per piece
Wine Pairing: Briquette du Nord is best served with a Sancerre or Chablis
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
