Description: This cow's milk cheese is produced in the South West of France. Ripened with walnut liquor, the Tomme des Croquants is shaped in a "wicker basket" mould and rubbed during ripening around 6 weeks with a salty solution of walnut liquor and caramel for a lovely brown colour and subtle aroma of walnuts. The creamy and melting texture makes it a nice cheese to open a cheese tasting.
Weight: Approx. 200g/piece
Wine Pairing: This cheese pairs well with a soft and mature wines with smooth tannins.
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
