Saint Felicien - 200g
is on back order
Description: Saint-Felicien is a soft, cow's milk cheese that originated from the farms in the Rhone-Alpes region of France. Affinage for the cheese takes at least 2-6 weeks during which it develops a bloomy rind and a natural golden-beige colour. The taste, rind and texture are creamy, delicate and soft due to the use of soft curd in the cheesemaking process. The cheese is sold in a small terra cotta pot since the pate can almost become runny.
Weight: Approx. 200g/ piece
Wine Pairing: Cheese aficionados adore Saint Félicien with a chilled Sancere or Pouilly Fume. It is also served with Cotes du Rhone and all kinds of light red, fruity red, dry light white wines.
Our cheeses can be kept for at least a week from the date of delivery. After opening the initial wrapping paper, we recommend to store the cheeses in a clean, dry cling wrap and store them in the lower compartment of the fridge which is usually not too cold or dry.
